Maharishi University & CBMR Sign MoU for Academic and Research Collaboration

Lucknow: Maharishi University of Information Technology (MUIT), Lucknow, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Center for Biomedical Research (CBMR), an autonomous center under the Government of Uttar Pradesh, on March 3, 2025. The MoU was signed by MUIT Registrar Dr. Girish Chimwal and CBMR Director Prof. Alok Dhawan in the  presence of  Vice Chancellor Prof. Bhanu Pratap Singh.

This collaboration aims to enhance academic partnerships through student internships, research projects, and study visits, along with joint research initiatives for extramural funding. It also includes sharing laboratory facilities, promoting industrial skill development, and advancing high-quality research publications.

The event was graced by the presence of CBMR Dean Prof. Neeraj Sinha, Dr. Uttam Kumar, Dr. Yogesh Kumar, and Dr. Narendra Kumar, along with MUIT Dean of Academics Dr. Neeraj Jain.

Also present at the signing were MUIT Deputy Dean of Academics Dr. Kalyan Acharya and Dean of Pharmacy Dr. Shikhar Verma. The visiting delegation from Maharishi University had the opportunity to observe high-performance equipment at CBMR, including NMR, fMRI, LC-MS, GC-MS, and HPLC.
